Emma Cahill qualified as an Occupational Therapist in the UK in 2008 and has since developed a specialism in Paediatrics starting in 2010. Prior to this, she worked predominantly with adults who had mental health difficulties in both community and inpatient settings. Through her experience working in London, Emma gained a range of skills which she now incorporates into her clinical specialism. Emma has worked in a variety of settings including schools, clinics, and homes, working with babies to young adults. Her specialist area is children on the Autistic Spectrum (ASD), ADHD, DCD/Dyspraxia, and Developmental delay. She also has many years of experience working with children with physical disabilities such as Cerebral Palsy, Hemiplegia, Down’s syndrome, genetic disorders, Cancer, and various other disabilities. Emma’s love for working with children led her to complete post-graduate training in Sensory Integration (Post graduate certificate), Sleep practitioner training, Therapeutic Listening program, Supporting selective eaters, Splint & Lycra suit training, certificate to practice in Housing adaptation and design, and other courses.
